My grandpa gave me an old Nikon film camera when I was 8. I've never looked back.

When someone asks how I differentiate myself from other photography businesses in West Michigan, I’d say it’s a combination of artistry, professionalism, and the personalized care I bring to every project. With over 20 years of experience, I’ve honed a signature style that’s clean, minimalistic, and timeless—particularly in product photography—while my portrait work focuses on capturing authentic, natural moments.
I work closely with each client to understand their unique needs, ensuring the final images don’t just look great but also align with their brand or vision. Small businesses and startups are my focus because I enjoy building long-term relationships and helping them grow. I provide high-quality, ready-to-use deliverables that simplify their marketing efforts—like web-optimized, social media-ready, and full-resolution images. Two locations. Primary and secondary studios. No plans to expand beyond what we currently have.

What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
I took photos of a high-school-aged girl one day that suffered from a rare condition. She was on medication and made her much heavier than she normally was. He mother called in tears after viewing the images and said "I don't think you understand, you've done more for her and her self confidence than the last 2 years of therapy".
